RETAINED ACCESSORY POWER AND BATTERY SAVER
RETAINED ACCESSORY POWER (RAP)
The power windows will work when the key is in the ON or ACCESSORIES positions.
Once the ignition is switched to LOCK, the RAP allows the power windows to continue
to operate for up to 10 minutes. If a door is opened during this period, they will be
deactivated.
Note The audio system will be deactivated only if the driver’s door is opened.
BATTERY SAVER
To prevent the battery from discharging, the lamps for the glovebox

, boot (Sedan),
cargo area

(Sportwagon) and the reading lamps

are switched off automatically
approximately 10 minutes after the key is switched to LOCK.
Once the lamps have been deactivated, they are reactivated if any of the following occur:
• The ignition is switched on.
• The vehicle is unlocked.
• The boot (Sedan) is opened.
• The tailgate

(Sportwagon) is opened.
• The glovebox is opened.
• The reading lamps

are switched on.
