What is TENS?
TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) is a non-invasive, drug-free method of controlling pain by the transmission of
electrical stimulation to the body’s nerve or muscle fibers through the skin. Pain relief or suppression is achieved by:
•Suppressingthetransmissionofpaininnerves(GateControlTheory)and
•Increasingthedischargeofthebody’sendorphins,whichreducesthesensitivitytopaininthecentralnervoussystem
(Opiate Release Theory)
The Hollywog WiTouch’s exclusive and patented waveform incorporates BOTH clinical theories of TENS to provide pain relief.

INDICATIONS FOR USE
The Hollywog WiTouch is indicated for temporary relief of pain associated with sore and aching muscles in the lower back due to
strain from exercise or normal household and work activities.
CONTRAINDICATION
Do not use this device if you have a cardiac pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or other implanted metallic or electronic device.
Such use could cause electric shock, burns, electrical interference, or death.
WARNINGS
• Donotusethisdeviceacrossorthroughyourchestbecausetheelectricalcurrentsintroducedintothechestmaycauserhythm
disturbances to your heart, which may be lethal.
• Donotusethisdeviceifyouaresusceptibletorhythmdisturbancestotheheartunlessunderthedirectionofyourphysician.
• Donotusethisdeviceoveryourneckbecausethiscouldcauseseveremusclespasmsresultinginclosureofyourairway,
difficulty in breathing, or adverse effects on heart rhythm or blood pressure.
• Consultwithyourphysicianbeforeusingthisdeviceifyouareinthecareofaphysician.

PRECAUTIONS
• DONOTSTARTstimulationofthedevicepriortoapplicationofthedevicetotheback.
• Keepthisdeviceoutofthereachofchildren.
• Thesafetyofnervestimulationhasnotbeenestablishedduringpregnancy;thereforedonotusethisdeviceifyouare
pregnant, or suspect that you are pregnant, unless under the direction of your physician.
• Thisdeviceshouldnotbeappliedonoracrossyourheadsincetheeffectsofstimulationofthebrainareunknown.
• Thisdeviceisforsymptomatictreatmentand,assuch,suppressesthesensationofpainthatwouldotherwiseserveasa
protective mechanism.
• Ifyouhavesuspectedordiagnosedheartdisease,youshouldfollowprecautionsrecommendedbyyourphysician.
• Ifyouhavesuspectedordiagnosedepilepsy,youshouldfollowprecautionsrecommendedbyyourphysician.
