10 OPERATION
Device to be operated in a perfect state only. Inspect the device visually every time it is to be
used. Check in particular the safety equipment, electrical controls, electric cables and screwed
connection for damage and if tightened properly. Replace any damaged parts before operating
the device.
10.1 Assembly
The machine must be mounted on a stand-safe, sufficiently stable workbench. The workbench
must be so stable and fixed that it cannot move when bending.
NOTICE
Mount the machine with 4 bolts (min ø 8mm) onto the workbench.
Mount the bending lever (5) with bolts (9) onto machine.
10.2 Operation
ATTENTION
The workpieces can be sharp-edged! ATTENTION Injury! Use
protective gloves!
10.2.1 Clamping workpiece
Clamp Workpiece with the help of the eccentric clamping block (2).
For different material thicknesses turn the clamping block:
loosen the locking screw (3)
Release the clamping lever (4)
Remove the clamping block and place it in the desired position
Adjust bending length with the help of the workpiece stop
10.2.2 Adjusting bending angle
Place bending angle stop in the desired position
Fine adjustment possible with adjustment screw (10)
10.2.3 Bending workpiece
For the desired material and bending radius use the corresponding bending block and
fix them with bolt (12)
Put the adjustable jaw (7) with the adjustment screw (8) onto the workpiece.
Move bending lever (5) until stop reaches.
11 MAINTENANCE
The machine does not require extensive maintenance. If malfunctions and defects occur, let it be
serviced by trained persons only.
Before first operation as well as later on every 100 operation hours you should lubricate all
connecting parts (if required, remove beforehand with a brush all swarfs and dust).
