Usage Features

The ride-on car is equipped with several features for operation and safety:

  • Power Button: Turns the product on and off.
  • Foot Pedal: Controls the speed. Pressing down applies power, while releasing reduces pressure for braking or slowing down.
  • Forward/Reverse Lever: Changes the direction of movement. Shifting to the top position moves the product forward, and to the down position moves it backward. It is important to stop the vehicle before changing speed or direction to prevent damage to gears and the motor.
  • Sound Buttons: Located on the steering wheel, these buttons activate sound effects.
  • High/Low Speed Switch (if equipped): Allows the product to move forward at either high or low speed. If equipped with high speed, ensure the child understands how to steer, start, stop, and the rules for safe driving.
  • Digital Voltmeter (if equipped): Indicates the remaining battery power, signaling when recharging is necessary. The vehicle must be stopped to check the voltage.
  • Remote Controller (For R/C type only): An optional remote controller is provided for remote operation.
  • Operating Environment: The vehicle should only be driven on level ground. It is not suitable for use on lawns, roadways, near motor vehicles, on steep inclines or steps, near swimming pools or other bodies of water, or in unsafe conditions such as snow, rain, loose dirt, mud, sand, or gravel, as these can lead to accidents, tipping over, or damage to the electrical system or battery.
  • Safety Precautions: Always wear shoes and sit in the seat when operating. Never leave a child unattended; direct adult supervision is required, and the child must always be kept in view. Only one rider is allowed. The toy has no brake.

Maintenance Features

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of the ride-on car:

  • Regular Inspection: Parents are responsible for regularly checking main parts for potential hazards, including the battery, charger, cables, plug, screws, and other fastening enclosures. Any damaged parts must be properly repaired or replaced before use.
  • Storage: Park the vehicle indoors or cover it with a tarp to protect it from wet weather.
  • Battery Charging:
    • Only an adult is allowed to charge and recharge the battery.
    • The POWER SWITCH must be in the OFF position during charging.
    • For the first use, charge the battery for 4-6 hours. Subsequent charges should be 8-12 hours, with a maximum of 20 hours to prevent charger overheating.
    • Recharge the battery when the vehicle starts running slowly.
    • Use only the supplied rechargeable battery and charger; never substitute with other brands to avoid fire or explosion.
    • Do not use the battery or charger for any other product.
  • Cleaning: Clean the vehicle with a soft, dry cloth. For plastic parts, use a non-wax furniture polish to restore shine. Do not use car wax or abrasive cleaners. Do not wash the vehicle with a hose, soap, or water, and avoid driving in rainy or snowy weather, as water can damage the motor, electrical system, and battery.
  • Power Disconnection: When not in use, turn off all electrical sources by switching off the power switch and disconnecting the battery connection.
  • Thermal Fuse: The battery features a thermal fuse that automatically trips and cuts power if the motor, electrical system, or battery is overloaded. The fuse resets after the unit is turned OFF for 20 seconds and then ON again. If the fuse trips repeatedly, the vehicle may need repair, and the distributor should be contacted.
  • Preventing Fuse Trips:
    • Do not overload the vehicle.
    • Do not tow anything behind the vehicle.
    • Do not drive up steep slopes.
    • Avoid driving into fixed objects that cause wheels to spin and motors to overheat.
    • Do not drive in very hot weather, which can overheat components.
    • Prevent water or other liquids from contacting the battery or other electrical components.
    • Do not tamper with the electrical system, as this can cause a short and trip the fuse.
    • RISK OF FIRE: Do not bypass the fuse; replace only with a new fuse.
  • Battery Disposal: The battery will eventually lose its ability to hold a charge (typically 1-3 years). Dead batteries must be recycled responsibly and legally, as they contain lead acid. Do not incinerate or dispose of them in landfills or with regular household waste. Take them to a federal or state-approved lead acid battery recycler.
