Usage Features

  • Operating Environment:
    • ONLY use on generally level ground.
    • DO NOT use on lawn space, roadways, near streets, motor vehicles, steps, bodies of water, sloped surfaces, hills, wet areas, flammable vapors, in alleys, at night, or in the dark.
    • DO NOT use in unsafe conditions such as snow, rain, loose dirt, mud, sand, or gravel, as this may lead to accidents or damage to the electrical system/battery.
    • DO NOT use in traffic.
  • Supervision: Direct adult supervision is required at all times; never leave a child unattended.
  • Protective Gear: Always wear shoes and sit in the seat when operating.
  • Safety Precautions:
    • Keep hands, hair, and clothes away from moving parts.
    • The product contains small parts; keep children away during assembly.
    • Adult assembly is required.
    • Always remove protective material and poly bags and dispose of them before assembly.
    • This toy requires caution and skill to avoid falls or collisions.

Maintenance Features

  • Battery Charging:
    • Only an adult is allowed to charge and recharge the battery.
    • The POWER SWITCH must be in the OFF position when charging.
    • The product has charging protection, cutting off all functions during charging.
    • Recharge the battery when the vehicle begins to run slowly.
    • After each use or at least once a month, recharge for 8 to 12 hours (maximum 20 hours).
    • Use only the supplied rechargeable battery and charger; never substitute with other brands to avoid fire or explosion.

  • Battery Disposal:
    • Batteries will eventually lose the ability to hold a charge (1-3 years).

    • It is illegal to incinerate or dispose of lead acid batteries in landfills in most areas.
    • Take them to a federal or state-approved lead acid battery recycler or local automotive battery retailer.
    • Do not throw batteries away with regular household waste.
  • General Care:
    • Parents are responsible for regularly checking main parts (battery, charger, cable, cord, plug, screws, other fastenings) for potential hazards. If damaged, the toy must not be used until properly repaired.
    • Park the vehicle indoors or cover it with a tarp to protect it from wet weather.
    • Recharge the battery after each use and at least once a month if not in use.
    • DO NOT wash the vehicle with a hose, soap, or water.
    • DO NOT drive in rainy or snowy weather, as water will damage the motor, electric system, and battery.
    • Clean the vehicle with a soft, dry cloth.
    • Use non-wax furniture polish to restore shine to plastic parts; DO NOT use car wax or abrasive cleaners.
    • When not in use, turn off the power switch and disconnect the battery connection.
  • Preventing Power Loss/Fuse Trips:
    • DO NOT overload the vehicle.
    • DO NOT tow anything behind the vehicle.
    • DO NOT drive up steep slopes.
    • DO NOT drive into fixed objects, which can cause wheels to spin and the motor to overheat.
    • DO NOT drive in very hot weather, as components may overheat.
    • DO NOT allow water or other liquids to contact the battery or other electric components.
    • DO NOT tamper with the electric system, as this may cause a short and trip the fuse.
