(a) With generator running, power is now
provided to the receptacles.
(b) Plug in items to be powered, using only
grounded extension cords.
(c) The included 12V DC Charging Cable plugs
directly into the 12 Volt receptacle (see
Figure 3).
WARNING: DO NOT overload generator or electrical cords.
(a) Turn fuel valve to the ON
position (see Figure 2).
(b) Move choke control lever fully
to the right (see Figure 2).
(c) Select the ON position on the
engine ON/OFF switch (see
Figure 2).
(d) Start generator by slowly
pulling on the starter rope
handle (see Figure 2) until
resistance is felt. Then pull
cord rapidly to overcome
compression to start engine.
(e) Slowly move choke control
lever fully to the left as engine warms.

UNPACK GENERATOR
ADD FUEL AND CHECK ENGINE
LUBRICANT

without lubricant. Use a funnel to add
18 oz. 4-cycle small engine lubricant
10W30 into the engine. Fill to the upper
mark of the oil dipstick. Use caution to avoid
spilling.
(c)Removefuelcap(seeFigure1)andllwithREGULAR UNLEADED fuel.
Donotoverll.
Keep maximum fuel level 1/4 inch below the top of the fuel tank.
(d) Replace fuel cap.

(a) Before shutting engine off, unplug all electrical loads.
(b) Let engine run for 2 minutes.
(c) Turn engine ON/OFF to OFF (see Figure 2).
(d) Turn fuel valve to OFF (see Figure 2).
(e) If generator is to be stored for longer than 30 days, refer to the operator’s
manual for further instructions.

General Safety Warnings

Carbon Monoxide Hazard

Generator exhaust contains poisonous carbon monoxide gas that can cause unconsciousness or DEATH. Operate in well ventilated, outdoor areas.

Electrical Shock Hazard

Generator is a potential source of electric shock. Do not expose to moisture, rain or snow. Do not operate with wet hands or feet.

Grounding Hazard

Failure to properly ground generator can result in electrocution, especially if the generator is equipped with a wheel kit.

Environmental Exposure Warning

Do not expose to rain or use in damp locations.

Unpack and Prepare Generator

Unpack Generator

Remove inner packaging and lift unit out of carton. Check for included items.

Add Fuel and Check Lubricant

Add 18 oz. 10W30 lubricant and fill with regular unleaded fuel to 1/4 inch below tank top.

Move to Safe Operating Location

Move generator outside to a flat, level surface, away from doors, windows, and vents.

Starting and Operating the Generator

Start Generator Procedure

Turn fuel valve ON, move choke fully right, set switch ON, pull starter rope until resistance is felt, then pull rapidly.

Power Control Panel Usage

Connect loads to receptacles using grounded cords. Use 12V DC cable for 12V receptacle.

Shut Down and Storage

Shut Down Procedure

Unplug loads, run engine for 2 minutes, turn switch OFF, then turn fuel valve OFF.

Long-Term Storage

Refer to operator's manual for storage instructions if storing for longer than 30 days.
