Other Checks
Check the brake cable for kinks or signs of
wear that could cause sticking or failure.
Lubricate the brake cable with a
commercially available cable lubricant to
prevent premature wear and corrosion.
Make sure the brake arm, spring and
fasteners are in good condition.
FUEL
Fuel Tank
The fuel tank is located under the seat.
The fuel tank capacity including the reserve
supply is:
5.3 Ltr. (1.4 US gal, 1.17 Imp gal)
To open the fuel fill cap (1), unlock and lift
up the seat (Ref. page 28), then remove
the fuel fill cap by turning it counterclockwise.
Do not overfill the tank. There should be no
fuel in the filler neck (2).
After refueling, be sure to tighten the fuel
fill cap firmly by turning it clockwise.
Make sure that the arrow marks (3) on the
fuel fill cap and fuel tank is aligned.

WARNING
Petrol is highly flammable and explosive.
You can be burned or seriously injured
when handling fuel.
• Stop the engine and keep heat, sparks
and flame away.
• Refuel only outdoors.
• Wipe out spills immediately.
