Failures other than those resulting from defects in material or
workmanship are not covered by this warranty. This warranty does
not extend to emission control systems or parts that are affected or
damaged by owner abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, misuse,
misfueling, improper storage, collision, the incorporation of, or use
of, unsuitable attachments, or the unauthorized alteration of any
part.
This warranty does not cover replacement of expendable
maintenance items made in connection with required maintenance
services after the item’s first scheduled replacement as listed in the
maintenance section of the product owner’s manual, such as: spark
plugs and filters.
