mm Before operating this riding mower you should read and under-
stand the RIDING MOWER SAFETY on pages 5-7.
CAUTION:

In tall grass, first mow with the cutter deck fully raised (a’/2 in); this will ex-
pose any hidden obstacles. When you are sure the area is completely
cleared, re-mow at the desired height.
l
If the riding mower accidentally gets caught by some object, hole or curb,
do not try to ride over the obstuction or turn the steering to free the mower,
the
steering mechanism or cutter deck may be damaged.
NOTE: For best results, wait until the lawn is dry before mowing.
1. Set the cutter deck height adjusting lever to the desired cutting height.
