MAINTENANCE
Major adjustments are made with the lower adjust-
ers.
Remove the luggage box (page 2-6).
Loosen the lock nut, turn the adjusting nut as
required and tighten the lock nut.
Recheck the throttle operation and install the lug-
gage box.
AIR CLEANER
NOTE:
•
The viscous paper element type air cleaner can-
not be cleaned because the element contains a
dust adhesive.
•
If the scooter is used in unusually wet or dusty
areas,
more frequent inspections are required.
Remove the five screws and air cleaner cover.
Replace the element in accordance with the mainte-
nance schedule or any time it is excessively dirty or
damaged.
Install the new air cleaner element, cover and
tighten the screws.
