SERVICE INFORMATION
GENERAL
• When removing/installing the engine, tape the frame around the engine beforehand for frame protection.
• A hoist or equivalent is required to support the frame when removing and installing the engine. Support the engine
using a jack or other adjustable support to ease engine mounting bolt removal.
• Do not support the engine using the engine oil filter or it will be damaged.
• The crankcase and crankshaft require engine removal for service. Other components can be serviced with the engine
installed in the frame.

Rear brake caliper mounting bolt 30 N·m (3.1 kgf·m, 22 lbf·ft) Aloc bolt; replace with a new one
Starter motor cable terminal nut 10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m, 7 lbf·ft)
