Check the following items:

● Check the correct engine starting sequence.

● Check that there is petrol in the fuel tank.

● Check if the PGM-FI malfunction indicator

lamp (MIL) is on.

u If the indicator light is on, contact your

dealer as soon as possible.

Starter Motor Does Not

Operate

Check the following items:

● Check the correct engine starting sequence.

● Check for a blown fuse. 2 P. 86

● Check for a loose battery connection or

battery terminal corrosion. 2 P. 38, 49

● Check the condition of the battery. 2 P. 82

If the problem continues, have your

motorcycle inspected by your dealer.
