  Your Honeywell Home Fan might be operating only on high speed due to several reasons: * The dehumidistat of the wall controls may be activated. In this case, ensure all wall control and Speed Control wire connections correspond to their matching letters. * The T-3 Timer 20/40/60 mins may be activated. Ensure no nails, staples, or screws are shorting out the wires. * There could be a short circuit between the G & R terminals of REMOTES on Speed Control™. In this case, replace the LVC PCB board, wall control, and wires. * A faulty wire between the control and H/ERV. Inspect the wires to ensure no damage. * A faulty wall control. Remove the wall control and verify it at the H/ERV.

  If your Honeywell Home Fan has no power, consider the following: * The main power might not be energized. Consult a certified technician to ensure proper installation of the main power. * The HRV/ERV power cord might not be fully inserted. Remove and re-insert the power cord firmly. * The HRV/ERV or wall control might be in the OFF position. Ensure the HRV/ERV and/or wall controls are in the ON position. * There might be poor contact between connections on high, low voltage, and the door switch. Remove the door and locate the area where the switch compresses the door sealant. Insert a metal edge or small screw behind the door sealant to ensure proper contact between the door safety switch and the access door.

Ensure the wiring corresponds to the wiring diagram. * The unit is in its automatic defrost sequence when the defrost thermister measures a temperature of -5ºC/23ºF. Test the defrost thermister with an Ohm meter.

  A yellow blinking LED on the Honeywell Home Fan speed controller may indicate: * The defrost thermister is not properly connected to the HVC Controller. Ensure proper connection of the thermister. * The defrost thermister is defective. If the defrost thermister is not connected, plug it into the HVC controller on the terminals marked “TEMP SENSOR”. Connect the Ohm meter to the red terminal and if you receive no readings (0), replace the defrost thermister.

  If, during motor selection on the Speed Control while in balancing mode, your Honeywell Home Fan unit shuts off, goes to low speed, or enters INTER mode once the (+ / - ) buttons are pressed, it could be due to: * The Speed Control board not responding. Un-plug the unit for 30 seconds to re-boot it. * The balancing mode has been locked. On the Speed Control, press and hold both the ( + / - ) buttons for 15 seconds or until you receive a solid green light. This will reset the HRV/ERV back to factory default mode. Note: The unit must be re-balanced to ensure maximum performance.

  If your Honeywell Home Fan is operating only on high speed with no communication between the unit and wall controls, first, check if the dehumidistat of the wall controls is activated and disconnect all wall controls from the unit. Next, ensure that the T-3 Timer is not activated and that all other wall controls are not in override mode. Inspect the wires between the G & R terminals of the REMOTES on the Speed Control for any damage or short circuits. If the wiring is intact, remove the wall control and verify it at the H/ERV to check for faulty wiring. Finally, ensure all wall controls and Speed Control wire connections correspond to their matching letters, as a faulty wall control could be the cause.
