4 CW45 Mobile Computer User Guide
CW45 computers are designed for use with battery models CW45-BAT-S and
CW45-BAT-EX manufactured for Honeywell International Inc. When ordering a
replacement battery, it is important to order by part number (SKU) and not only
by model number. See Battery Part Numbers on page 4 for guidance on the
correct battery part number for your unit configuration.

Battery Part Numbers
Charge the Battery Before Use
You must charge the CW45 battery before using the computer for the first time.
Charge the standard battery with a CW45 charging device for a minimum of 3
hours. Charge the extended battery a minimum of 6 hours.
Note: Using the computer while charging the battery increases the time required to reach
a full charge.
Battery Replacement
If your battery power is low, you need to either charge the battery in the computer
or replace it with a charged battery.
Caution: Improper battery replacement or incompatible device usage may
result in risk of burns, fire, explosion, or other hazard. Dispose of
lithium-ion batteries according to local regulations. Risk of fire and
burns if improperly handled. Do not open, crush, heat above 60°C
(140°F), or incinerate.

and all cautionary markings on the battery, charging peripheral, and
