8.1 Inspection
8.2 Maintenance
8.2.1 Filter bowl
1. Close shutoff valve on inlet and outlet.
2. Release pressure on outlet side
3. Unscrew filter bowl
4. Remove filter cartridge
5. Insert filter cartridge in new filter bowl
6. Screw filter bowl in place
7. Open shut-off valve on inlet
8. Slowly open shutoff valve on outlet
8.2.2 Filter insert
1. Close shutoff valve on inlet and outlet.
2. Release pressure on outlet side
3. Unscrew filter bowl
4. Remove filter cartridge
5. Clean or replace filter insert
o preliminary filter 100µm can be rinsed with clear
water
o replace fine filter insert 25µm if it is contaminated
o replace activated carbon cardridge if it is contami-
nated
6. Screw filter bowl in place
7. Open shut-off valve on inlet
8. Slowly open shutoff valve on outlet
9. Disposal
Head and ring nut: reinforced polypropylene
Polyester prefilter net
Polypropylene fine filter
Granular activated carbon
Clear synthetic material filter bowl
ETP O-Rings
Regular inspection of filter insert - approx. every
4 month.
o If contamonation is high rinse preliminary
filter 100µm and replace fine filter 25µm.
To be carried out by an installation company.
Replace the preliminary filter at least after 2
years or after the third rinsing.
Replace the fine filter insert 25µm if it is conta-
minated, but at least after 6 month.
Replace activated carbon cardridge at least
every 6 month.
10. Troubleshooting
Problem Cause Remedy
Too little or no water pressure Shut-off valves up- or downstream are
not fully open
Open the shutoff valves fully
Filter cartridge is contaminated Replace filter cartridge
Filter is not fitted in flow direction Fit filter in flow direction
