FOR STANDARD UNITS
The speed control knob will operate the reel from neutral to
full-speed. The 2-speed wireless remote will operate the unit
from half-speed on button A to full-speed on button B. A
second remote may be programmed upon request for a spare.

DETACHABLE DRIVE UNITS
Use electric feature as described in the standard units section.
When using hand crank manual mode, drive must be detached
from reel or a brake will occur. This makes it impossible to hand
crank the reel. Hand crank feature allows the high gear to be
initiated manually.
GEN II AUTO STOP UNITS
After powering up the reel, the display will show the hooker logo
icon. If you press the control button one (1) time, the reel will
enter ino the “Auto Stop Mode”. The display will show counts
based on depth on the top line of the display and RPMs on the
bottom line. If you press the button one (1) more time, the reel
will enter into override mode. “Override” will be displayed at the
bottom of the display in the color red.
To clear the counts, press and hold the button until the display
reads “Clear” then release the button and the value “Zero” is
reset.
If for any reason you lose power
or choose to fight a fish manually,
UNPLUG the reel from the power
source and press the button on the
handle (low-speed) to engage the
manual operation. The reel will work
as normal with little resistance.
