  If dust is escaping from your Hoover Vacuum Cleaner, the filters may not be installed correctly. Refer to the Maintenance section regarding the filters. Also, the dirt cup may be incorrectly installed. Remove the Dirt Cup from the unit by pressing the Dirt Cup Release Button and reattach it to the unit, ensuring it is locked firmly back into place. The filters may also be clogged.
