Washing Functionality:
The machine provides a range of wash programs, including:
- Cottons with Pre Wash: Designed for maximum washing and rinsing efficiency, suitable for heavily soiled cottons. It includes a prewash cycle for extra dirty loads.
- Coloureds: Optimized for coloured cottons and mixed fabrics, ensuring good washing and rinsing performance.
- "A" Wash 59': A specially designed program for high-quality wash performance in a reduced time, suitable for a maximum load of 3 kg at 60°C.
- Synthetics: Optimized for synthetic and mixed fabrics with appropriate drum rotation speeds and water levels, minimizing creasing.
- Delicate: Features alternate periods of activity and pauses, using a high water level for gentle washing of delicate fabrics, mimicking hand-washing.
- Wool: Specifically for Woolmark-labelled fabrics, with alternate activity and pauses, high water level, and a maximum temperature of 40°C.
- Rinse: Performs three rinses with an intermediate spin, suitable for any fabric type, including post-hand washing.
- Spin: Completes the spin cycle at the maximum allowed speed for the selected program, with adjustable speed.
- Drain: Drains water from the machine.
- Silk: A gentle Silk and Hand Wash program for garments specified as "Hand Wash Only" or "Wash as Silk," with a maximum temperature of 30°C and no final spin.

- Start Pause Button: Initiates or pauses the selected program.

- Sensitive Care Option: Provides deeper washing and five extra rinses for delicate fabrics and sensitive skin, available on Cotton and Synthetic cycles.
- Delay Start Option: Delays the start of the wash cycle by up to 24 hours in one-hour intervals.
- Temperature Button: Adjusts the wash temperature, allowing reduction for energy saving or increase for intensive washes.
Loading and Detergent Dispensing:
- Detergent Dispenser: Features three compartments: "1" for prewash detergent, "2" for main wash detergent, and "88" for special additives like fabric softeners.
- Load Capacity: The machine has a maximum wash load of 6 kg and a maximum dry load of 5 kg. Users are advised not to overload the machine to maintain wash quality and prevent damage.
- KG Mode (Half Load): An intelligent sensor system available on Cotton and Synthetic cycles that weighs the laundry during the first 4 minutes of the cycle and adjusts water, cycle length, rinsing, and spin speed accordingly, optimizing resource consumption.
- Out of Balance Protection: An electronic sensor device re-balances unbalanced loads automatically. If balance cannot be restored, a reduced spin speed is used or the spin stage is cancelled to prevent vibration and noise.
Energy and Water Efficiency:
- The machine is designed for energy-efficient cold-water supply connections.
- Default temperature settings are often lower to save electricity.
- Prewash is only recommended for very dirty loads to save energy.
- Using stain removers can reduce the need for high wash temperatures.
- Selecting a high spin speed before drying reduces water content, saving energy and time during the drying phase.
Maintenance Features
Regular maintenance is crucial for the continued performance and longevity of the Hoover WDYNS D.
Cleaning:
- Exterior: Wipe the outside of the machine with a damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Soap Dispenser: Clean compartments and the siphon cover under warm running water occasionally to remove detergent residues.

- To prevent the build-up of grease, dirt, and scale from using small quantities of detergent and low-temperature wash programs, a maintenance wash is recommended a couple of times per year. This involves running the Cottons 90°C program without a load, using the normal quantity of detergent.
