Function Description:
The primary function of the HOST Back Bar Chiller is to maintain a consistent cool temperature for beverages stored within its cabinet. It operates with an automatic defrost system to prevent ice buildup and ensure efficient cooling. The appliance features a control panel for setting and monitoring the internal temperature, and it includes a cooling light to indicate when the unit is actively chilling. Some models come with sliding doors, which can be removed for cleaning or maintenance.

Usage Features:
- Installation: The chiller should be positioned on a flat, stable surface, away from direct sunlight or damp areas. A minimum clearance of 2.5cm is recommended between the unit and walls/objects, and 20cm on top, to optimize performance and longevity. It should never be located next to a heat source. If the unit has been moved or stored in a non-upright position, it should stand upright for approximately 12 hours before operation.
- Operation:
- Turning On: Close the door, connect to mains power, and turn the light switches On [I] or Off [O] as desired.
- Setting Temperature: Press the SET button, use the up/down arrows to select the desired temperature, and press SET again to store. The cooling light illuminates when the appliance is actively chilling.
- Manual Defrost: While the unit features automatic defrost cycles every 6 hours (lasting 20 minutes), a manual defrost can be initiated by pressing and holding the up arrow and SET button for 6 seconds. This action resets the automatic defrost timer. The defrost light illuminates during defrost periods.
- Shelving: Slide-out shelves can be inserted at desired levels, with smaller shelves placed on the appliance floor. Screw feet allow for leveling.
- Door Removal (Sliding Doors Only): For cleaning or lamp replacement, sliding doors can be removed by lifting them into the upper runner, then pulling the bottom out and down. To replace, slot into the upper runner, then push the bottom in and down into the bottom runner. Note that an automatic door-closing system means doors are attached by a cord, which should not be broken or removed.
Maintenance Features:
