a) Powertoolplugsmustmatchtheoutlet.Nevermodifythepluginanyway.Donotuse
anyadapterplugswithearthed(grounded)powertools. Unmodifiedplugsandmatching
outletswillreduceriskofelectricshock.
b) Avoidbodycontactwithearthedorgroundedsurfacessuchaspipes,radiators,
rangesandrefrigerators. Thereisanincreasedriskofelectricshockifyourbodyisearthedor
grounded.
c) Donotexposepowertoolstorainorwetconditions. Waterenteringapowertoolwill
increasetheriskofelectricshock.
d) Donotabusethecord.Neverusethecordforcarrying,pullingorunpluggingthe
powertool.Keepcordawayfromheat,oil,sharpedgesormovingparts. Damagedor
entangledcordsincreasetheriskofelectricshock.
e) Whenoperatingapowertooloutdoors,useanextensioncordsuitableforoutdooruse.

3) Personalsafety
a) Stayalert,watchwhatyouaredoingandusecommonsensewhenoperatingapower
tool.Donotuseapowertoolwhileyouaretiredorundertheinfluenceofdrugs,alcoholor
medication. Amomentofinattentionwhileoperatingpowertoolsmayresultinseriouspersonal
injury.
b) Usesafetyequipment.Alwaysweareyeprotection. Safetyequipmentsuchasdustmask,
non-skidsafetyshoes,hardhat,orhearingprotectionusedforappropriateconditionswillreduce
personalinjuries.
c) Preventunintentionalstarting.Ensuretheswitchisintheoff-positionbefore
connectingtopowersourceand/orbatterypack,pickinguporcarryingthetool. Carrying
powertoolswithyourfingerontheswitchorenergizingpowertoolsthathavetheswitchoninvites
accidents.
d) Removeanyadjustingkeyorwrenchbeforeturningthepowertoolon. Awrenchora
keyleftattachedtoarotatingpartofthepowertoolmayresultinpersonalinjury.
e) Donotoverreach.Keepproperfootingandbalanceatalltimes. Thisenablesbetter
