Usage Features

Control Panel: The control panel includes:

  • ON/OFF button: To switch the washing machine on or off.
  • PROGRAMS knob: To select the desired wash cycle. This knob remains stationary during the program.
  • TEMPERATURE knob: To set the wash temperature or cold wash.
  • SPIN SPEED knob: To set or exclude the spin speed.
  • FUNCTION buttons with indicator lights: To select available functions. The corresponding indicator light illuminates when a function is selected. If a function is incompatible with the selected program, the light will flash, and the function will not activate. If multiple incompatible functions are selected, only the most recent one will remain active.
  • WASH CYCLE PROGRESS/DELAY TIMER indicator lights: These lights monitor the progress of the wash cycle. The illuminated light indicates the current phase. If the "Delayed start" function is active, these lights will show the remaining time until the program starts.
  • DOOR LOCKED indicator light: Indicates if the door is locked. It must be off before the door can be opened to prevent damage.
  • START/PAUSE button: To start or temporarily interrupt programs. Pressing this button during a cycle will cause its indicator light to flash orange, while the current phase light remains steady. If the DOOR LOCKED light is off, the door can be opened. Pressing the button again resumes the cycle from where it was interrupted.

Wash Cycles: The washing machine offers a variety of programs for different fabric types and soil levels, including:

  • Cotton + Prewash (90°C): For extremely soiled whites.
  • Standard Cotton 60°C (60°C): For normally soiled whites and resistant colours.
  • Standard Cotton 40°C (40°C): For normally soiled delicate whites and colours.
  • Standard Cotton 20°C (20°C): For normally soiled delicate whites and colours.
  • Synthetics (60°C/40°C): For resistant/delicate colours.
  • Mix 30' (30°C): A quick program (30 minutes) for lightly soiled laundry (not suitable for wool, silk, or hand-washable items), max 3 kg.
  • Mix 15' (30°C): An even quicker program (15 minutes) for lightly soiled laundry, max 1.5 kg.
  • Anti-bacterial (90°C): For extremely soiled whites, using bleach.
  • Good Night (40°C): A silent cycle for delicate colours, allowing the machine to run at night with lower electricity tariffs.
  • Baby (40°C): A special program for children's clothes, designed to eliminate detergent traces and reduce bacterial load.
  • Shirts (40°C): For various fabrics and colours, minimizing creases.
  • Silk/Curtains (30°C): For silk, viscose, lingerie, and curtains.
  • Wool (40°C): For wool, cashmere, etc., approved by The Woolmark Company for hand-washable wool garments.
  • Rinse, Spin, Drain: Separate cycles for specific needs.

Personalisation Options:

  • Temperature Adjustment: The temperature can be set from cold wash up to 90°C, depending on the program. The machine automatically prevents settings that exceed the program's maximum.
  • Spin Speed Adjustment: Spin speed can be adjusted up to 1000 rpm or excluded entirely using the "Ø" symbol. The machine automatically prevents settings that exceed the program's maximum.
  • Functions:
    • Super Wash: Increases water quantity and wash duration in the initial phase for better results.
    • Extra Rinse: Enhances rinsing for optimal detergent removal, ideal for sensitive skin or detergent allergies.
    • Easy Iron: Modifies wash and spin cycles to minimize creasing. For silk programs, it pauses with water in the drum, requiring manual drain/spin activation.
    • Delayed Start: Allows delaying the program start by up to 12 hours.

Detergents and Laundry:

  • Detergent Dispenser Drawer: Divided into compartments for pre-wash detergent (powder), main wash detergent (powder or liquid), additives (fabric softeners), and bleach.
  • Bleach Cycle: Only possible with program 8 for very soiled cotton garments.
  • Laundry Preparation: Sort laundry by fabric type, care label symbols, and colours. Empty pockets and check buttons. Do not exceed the maximum dry load weights specified in the program table.
  • Load Balancing System: Before each spin cycle, the drum rotates at a slightly higher speed to distribute the load evenly, preventing excessive vibrations. If the load remains unbalanced, the machine will spin at a reduced speed or perform a distribution process instead of spinning. Mixing large and small items is recommended for better balance.

Maintenance Features

  • Cutting off Water and Electricity: Always turn off the water tap after each wash cycle and unplug the machine during cleaning or maintenance.
  • Cleaning the Washing Machine: Clean outer parts and rubber components with a soft cloth soaked in lukewarm soapy water. Avoid solvents or abrasives.
  • Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser Drawer: Remove and wash the drawer frequently under running water.
  • Caring for the Door and Drum: Leave the porthole door ajar after use to prevent unpleasant odours.
  • Cleaning the Pump: The machine has a self-cleaning pump that generally requires no maintenance. However, small items may fall into the pre-chamber. To access it, unscrew the lid, clean the inside, and screw the lid back on. Ensure the wash cycle has finished and the appliance is unplugged before cleaning.
  • Checking the Water Inlet Hose: Check the hose at least once a year for cracks and replace it immediately if any are found, as high water pressure can cause it to split. Use only the hoses supplied with the machine.

Safety Precautions

  • This appliance is for domestic use only.
  • Children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, can use the appliance if supervised or instructed safely. Children must not play with the appliance or perform cleaning/maintenance without supervision.
  • Do not touch the appliance with bare feet or wet hands.
  • Do not pull the power cable to unplug the machine.
  • Do not open the detergent drawer while the machine is operating.
  • Do not touch the drain water, as it can be very hot.
  • Do not force the porthole door open.
  • In case of malfunction, do not attempt internal repairs.
  • Keep children away from the appliance during operation.
  • The porthole door can become hot during the wash cycle.
  • Two or three people are needed to move the appliance due to its weight.
  • Ensure the drum is empty before loading laundry.
  • Disposal: Dispose of packaging materials according to local regulations for recycling. The appliance itself must be disposed of separately from municipal waste, following EU Directive 2012/19/EU, to optimize material recovery and recycling and reduce environmental impact.

Manual Door Opening

In case of a power failure, the door can be opened manually:

  1. Unplug the machine.
  2. Ensure the water level inside the machine is below the porthole. If not, drain excess water using the drain hose into a bucket.
  3. Pull the indicated tab until the plastic tie-rod disengages, then pull downwards and open the door.
