Why won't my Hotpoint HFC3C26WCUK Dishwasher start or respond to commands?
    • B
      Brian MclaughlinAug 11, 2025
If your Hotpoint dishwasher won't start or respond, make sure it's properly plugged into the socket. If there was a power outage, the dishwasher will start automatically when the power is restored. Ensure the dishwasher door is fully closed until you hear a click. If it still doesn't respond, try switching the appliance off and on again after a minute, then reset the program.

If your Hotpoint dishwasher isn't draining, first, wait until the wash cycle finishes. Then, check the drain hose to ensure it is not bent. Also, make sure the sink drain pipe is not blocked and clean it if necessary. Finally, clean the filter if it's clogged with food residues.

How to fix Hotpoint Dishwasher when the dishes are not clean?
    • G
      Gabriel Lopez Jr.Aug 27, 2025
If your Hotpoint dishwasher is not cleaning dishes properly, make sure the crockery is arranged correctly so that the spray arms can rotate freely. Select an appropriate wash cycle. Ensure that the cap on the rinse aid compartment is closed correctly. Clean the filter assembly if it is soiled or clogged. Fill the salt reservoir if there is no salt. If there's excessive foam, it may be due to incorrect detergent dosage or unsuitable detergent.
