Why won't my Hotpoint Dishwasher start or respond to commands?
    • D
      Danielle BautistaAug 12, 2025
If your Hotpoint dishwasher isn't starting or responding, there are several potential causes. First, ensure the appliance is properly plugged into the socket. In case of a power outage, the dishwasher won't restart automatically; press the START/Pause button to resume the cycle. Also, make sure the dishwasher door is fully closed until you hear a 'click'. If the door was opened during a cycle for more than 4 seconds, close it and press START/Pause. If the display shows F9 or F12 and both On/Off and START/Pause LEDs are blinking rapidly, switch the appliance off and on, and restart the program. If the problem continues, unplug the appliance for 1 minute, then plug it back in.

Why are my dishes not clean after using my Hotpoint HFC 3C41 CW X Dishwasher?
    • A
      April SilvaAug 16, 2025
If your dishes aren't getting clean in your Hotpoint dishwasher, several factors could be the cause. Ensure that the crockery is arranged correctly so the spray arms can rotate freely. Select an appropriate wash cycle for the load. Also, check that the cap on the rinse aid compartment is properly closed and that the filter isn't soiled or clogged. Finally, make sure there is salt in the salt reservoir. If an excessive amount of foam has been produced, it could be that the detergent has not been measured out correctly or it is not suitable for use in dishwashers.

Why does my Hotpoint HFC 3C41 CW X finish the cycle prematurely and show error code F15?
    • K
      Kenneth JensenAug 31, 2025
If your Hotpoint dishwasher is finishing cycles early and displays F15 with blinking LEDs, it could be due to the drain hose being positioned too low or siphoning into the home sewage system. Check if the end of the drain hose is placed at the correct height. Also, check for siphoning into the home sewage system, and install an air admittance valve if necessary. Another potential cause is air in the water supply, so inspect the water supply for leaks or other issues letting air inside.
