  If the Washing, Drying, and End indicator lights are flashing on your Hotpoint dishwasher, it indicates a Water inlet hose alarm or a blocked water inlet filter. Switch off the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button, shut off the water tap to prevent flooding, and remove the plug from the electrical socket.   If your Hotpoint dishwasher is beeping and not taking in water, with the Drying and End indicator lights flashing, it could be due to several reasons. There might be no water in the mains supply, or the water inlet hose could be bent. Also, the appliance lock may have been activated because no action was taken when the beeps sounded. To resolve this, turn on the tap; the appliance will start after a few minutes. If the appliance lock has been activated, switch off the appliance using the ON/OFF button, turn on the tap, and switch the appliance back on after 20 seconds by pressing the same button.
