Enables motor operation only when magnet is properly seated on a clean and flat work surface. Turns motor off if switch detects shift or lift.
Energizes the magnetic base and activates the safety switch. Motor can be started by pushing the motor START switch.
De-energizes the magnetic base and deactivates motor START switch. Does not function while motor is on.
Starts the motor when the magnetic base is energized and the safety switch is activated.
Deactivates motor. Magnetic base remains energized and safety switch activated.
Lifts magnet and breaks residual magnetic energy. Acts as a glide point when moving the drill.
Addresses issues like chips, dirt, or irregular surfaces affecting magnetic base hold.
Covers causes such as inadequate base hold, excessive feed pressure, or worn pilot.
Troubleshoots issues with worn arbor support bearings, ejector collars, or misaligned support brackets.
Addresses problems related to loose gibs affecting the set position of the motor and slide.
Identifies worn pinion or rack as the cause for inconsistent feed.
