WHAT IS HOUSEGARD NOTE?
Housegard Note is a smart home system, designed to monitor your home remo-
tely. Requirement: Wifi 2.4 GHz.
DOWNLOAD APP FOR ANDROID OR iOS
”Housegard Note” for Android and iOS is available for free download via
Google Play and App Store. Search for ”Housegard”.
REGISTER AN ACCOUNT
Open the app and click on the Register link to start a registration.
You will receive a confirmation email asking you to activate your account.
The email comes from the domain hekr.me
REGISTER YOUR HUB
Have your 2.4 wifi password at hand. Plug your hub into the socket.
Follow the instructions and steps according to the app.
Step 1: Select Main in the app menu. Chose configuration in the upper right
corner.
Step 2: Click Install hub.
Step 3: Press the button on the actual hub for more
than 3 seconds until the blue LED ring starts to flash
(every second, normal mode). Click Next in the app.
Step 4: The phone’s 2.4 GHz Wifi is displayed, enter the
wifi password.
Step 5: The hub configures and verifies that the configuration is complete.
NOTE. If it fails, proceed to Direct mode, hub flashes blue every two seconds. In
Direct mode, the hub creates a temporary Wifi for connection.
INSTALL DEVICES TO YOUR SYSTEM
Step 1: Select Device from the menu in your app.
Step 2: Click the Plus sign/Add in the upper right corner. At this point,
the LED on the actual hub should turn green.
Step 3: Press the button on the device that you would like to connect rapidly 3
times (within 2 seconds).
Step 4: A dialog box appears in the app. Name your device, e.g. ”Hallway”.

FOUR DIFFERENT CONDITIONS
There are four dierent conditions for each installed device. The Device icon on
the device page changes its color according to the condition.

The reason for a device being oine may be due to low battery or too long
distance between device and hub.
