Overview

The Hover-1 Aviator is an electric folding scooter designed for personal transportation. It emphasizes safety, requiring users to wear a helmet that complies with CPSC or CE safety standards and to read the entire manual thoroughly before operation. The scooter is subject to wear and high stresses, and any signs of damage like cracks or scratches in stressed areas indicate the component's life has been reached and it should be replaced. Riding in an abusive manner is discouraged.

The Aviator features handlebars (left and right), an LCD display, an electric brake, a power/function button, a charging port, and a throttle. It also includes a release lever, an aluminum frame, an LED light, a kickstand, a foot pad, and a mechanical brake.

The LCD display shows the current speed in Mph and the current speed level (P1 for low speed mode, P2 for high speed mode). In low speed mode, the max speed is 9mph, and in high speed mode, it's 15mph. A headlight icon indicates when the headlight is activated, and a cruise control icon indicates when cruise control is active. The battery indicator displays the current battery life.

To power on, press and hold the power/function button for 3 seconds. Once the display is on, press the button twice to turn headlights on or off.

To activate high speed mode, ensure the Aviator is powered on and not in motion, then press the power button once. The high speed mode indicator will light up.

Cruise control can be activated by pressing the throttle twice while maintaining a constant speed above 3 mph. A beep will sound, and the cruise control indicator will light up on the LCD display.

To ride, first get comfortable with the scooter as a normal kick scooter. Once comfortable, power it on. The motor activates when you start riding and push the throttle down with your thumb. To slow down, push the electric brake down, which stops the motor. The mechanical brake can also be applied with your foot. Turning is achieved by using the handlebar. The scooter can be operated manually without the motor.

Safety Precautions and Warnings:

  • Always wear a properly fitted helmet.
  • Be aware of pinch points when folding/unfolding the scooter.
  • Do not ride without all releases securely locked.
  • Read the user manual thoroughly to avoid damage, injury, or death.

  • Do not ride on icy or slippery surfaces.
  • Store the Aviator in a dry, ventilated environment.
  • Avoid violent crashes or impact during transport.
  • Low temperatures (below 40°F) can affect lubrication and battery performance, increasing the risk of mechanical failures.
  • Keep the device away from heat, direct sunlight, humidity, water, and other liquids.
