STEP 2: Connect Pump

Set Wall Section on aflat surface, face down.
Locate the end of the Water Hose, onthe bottom of the WallSection.
Attach the Pump to the Water Hose. Verify the Hose is pushed all the
way onto thepump.

STEP3:BasinandSpotlight

Place the Basin on a flat surface where the fountain will be located.
(near two electricaloutlets.)
Level the Basin using the FloorLevelers on thebottom of the Basin.
Place the Spotlightin the bottom ofthe Basin at the front center.
Route the Spotlight power cord out of the Basin through the slot at
the back edge. Leave6-8 inches of extra power cordin the Basin with
the Spotlight.

SetthetimeusingtheTimeSettingKnob.
Iftheclockbeginstolosetime,orthependulumswingbeginsto
slow,itisthesignofweakorexhaustedbatteries.Replacebattery
withafresh“AA”Alkalinebattery.

BATTERYREPLACEMENT:
Installthebatteriesaccordingtothe+/-symbols.
Position the Movement Cover over the Movement to keep water
from the Fountain off theMovement.
IMPORTANT: Never leave an exhausted battery in your clock as it
could leak anddamage your clock.
STEP 7: Add water

Fill the Basin with clean water, up to
underside of Mounting Plate, so that the
(Distilled, bottled or spring water
are recommended. Donot use hot water.)
NOTE: Only the Pump, the electrical cord
directly connected to the Pump, and the
Spotlight cord are to come in contact with
water.
Due to natural evaporation, check water
level . Pump must be submerged to
operate properly.
NOTE: Typically the Fountain will require
water added everyone to two days.
Place River Rocks on the Wall Section
Mounting Plate.

Under no circumstances should the
Transformer, the connection between the
Spotlight cord plug and the Transformer
socket or other parts come into contact
with water.

Carefully lift the Wall Section and the
attached Pump over the Basin. (One
person to hold the Wall Section, one
person to holdthe Pump.)
Lower the Wall Section onto the
supports in the Basin so that the holes
in the Mounting Plate align with the
holes in theBasin Supports.

Putthe Pumpinto the center ofthe Basin.
Route the Pump power cord out of the
Basin through theslot at theback edge.
Thread the Anchor bolts through the
holes in the Wall Section Mounting
Plate and intothe Basin supports.
Tighten the Anchor bolts with screw
driver.
Verify the Wall Section is level by
adjusting the Levelers. (see Step 3)
NOTE: Do NOT push on the Wall
Section to access the Floor Levelers or
move the unit. Lift from the Basin to
adjust the FloorLevelers.

STEP 6: Spotlight to Transformer
Verify that neither the Transformer nor the connection between the
Transformer and Spotlight cord are in the Basin where they could
get wet.

Connect the plug at the end of the Spotlight cord into the socket on
the Transformer.
Do NOT allow the socketand plug connection betweenthe Spotlight
and the Transformer toget incontact with the ground where contact
with water couldcause electrical shock.

STEP 9: Dial and Pendulum

Screw the Brass Pegs with rubber stoppers into the bottom two
holes of theWallSection, as shown below.
Screw the Brass Rod without the rubber stopper into the top hole of
the Wall Section, as shownbelow.
NOTE:Some threads will remain exposed on the Pegs and Rods.
Slide the Dial MountingSleeve over the BrassRod near the top ofthe
WallSection until the backof the Dial rests against the Brass Pegs.
Align the Dialso that it hangsstraight and level.
Tighten the SetScrew on the DialMounting Sleeve.
Hang the Pendulum ontothe Pendulum Hanger (see Step 8)
Start the Pendulum swing by gently moving the Pendulum to the left
or right side of the Fountain and release. The pendulum will settle
into an evenswinging motion after afew minutes.

Verify that the water level allows the Pump to be
completely submerged inthe water.
Plug Pump power cord and Transformer into
.
Pump MUST first fill the
Reservoir at the top of the Fountain before water
can begin to flow out of Fountain. This could take
up to a minute for the water to begin flowing.
AdjusttheSpotlightsothatitshines
ontheFountainasdesired.

Plug the Pump power cord into 110AC electrical
outlet for 1-2 minutes. If water does notflow out of
the top ofthe Fountain,unplug the power cord.
Repeat above step as necessary to cycle the
Pump
110V AC electrical outlet with GFI receptacle
PRIMING THE PUMP
Do NOT plug-in or use this product if any part of it
appears to be damaged or operates abnormally.
Have the product examined and repaired, if
necessary, by a qualified electrician.
Pump will begin to fill the Reservoir at the top of
the Fountain Wall Section.
If
there is still no water flow after a minute, you will
need to primethe Pump.
This "Priming" action is normal and is generally
not necessary afterinitial installation.
let the Pump operate when not fully
submerged in water. Doing so may damage the
Pump. Always submerge the Pump in water, and
then plug inthe power cord.
If water flows out of the top of the unit
unevenly, see the Troubleshootingsection.
