Power function
In Algebraic mode, raises a number, y, to the power of
another number, x. Key in a number, y. Press
g*. Key
in the number, x, to which you wish to raise y. Press
T
(pages 40-41).

Power function
In RPN mode, raises the number in the Y-register to the
power of the number in the X-register. Key in a number, y.
Press
H. Key in the exponent, x, followed by g*
(page 265).

Square root
Calculates the square root of the number displayed in the
X-register (pages 40-41, 265). Key in a number. Press
g-.
g+
Square
Squares the number displayed in the X-register. Key in a
number. Press
g+ (pages 40-41, 265).
gY
Math menu
To display the MATH menu, press
gY. The menu
includes the following functions: common, base 10,
logarithm (LOG), common, base 10, antilogarithm (10^x),
natural, base e, logarithm (LN), natural antilogarithm
(EXP), factorial (N!), value of PI (PI). To use these functions,
key in a number and press the desired menu key, or with a
number displayed, press the desired menu key (page 42).
Note: pressing PI inserts the value for PI into the display.
