3. Copy e1000e-0.4.1.7.tar.gz to desktop

4. Open terminal

5. cd Desktop/

6. rpmbuild –tb e1000e-0.4.1.7.tar.gz

7. tar -xzvf e1000e-0.4.1.7.tar.gz

8. cd e1000e-0.4.1.7/src

9. make install

10. modprobe e1000e

11. insmod /lib/modules/2.6.23.1-42.fc7/kernel/drivers/net/e1000e/e1000e.ko

12. init 6


