6. Release the switch cover (1) by sliding it to the right, and then lifting it (2) as far as the LED
board cable and the power button board cable allow.
7. Lift the rear edge of the keyboard and swing it up and forward until it rests upside down on the
palm rest.
8. Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (1) to which the keyboard cable is attached, and
disconnect the keyboard cable (2) from the system board.
