Remove the solenoid connector (callout 1) from the ECU.

Remove the self-tapping screw (callout 2) that holds the solenoid
in place.
5
Unthread the wires from the printer chassis.
6
Lift the solenoid off.

The paper pickup gear is keyed to go on the shaft in only one way.
