H. Algebraically add the voltages recorded in the
“Positive Slope Measurement’? column and enter the
total in the “Ey” space.
I. Multiply Ly by 45 (which is Zx) and enter the
result in the ExXy space.
J. Multiply each y value by the corresponding x value
and enter the result in the “х Times y" column. Total
these values and enter the result in the “Уху” space.

K. The equation for determining the “Вей fit
straight line” specification for each y value is:
y = mx + b
where m and b are constants to be calculated from data
previously taken.
NOTE
Calculate the values of m and b to at least 5
decimal places.
