7. RECEIVER NOISE LEVEL TEST (NA)
Description
This test measures the HP 4395A receiver noise levels (noise oor) in the network analyzer
mode at IF BW 10 Hz. This measures the noise level using the marker statistics function (mean)
when the inputs are terminated.
In this test, the noise level (trace mean value) is measured in linear format [Unit]. Then the
measured values are converted to log magnitude format [dBm]. This is done to avoid skewing
the data with the marker statistics function.
