• The cord set must be UL approved and CSA
certified
• The minimum specification for the flexible cord is:
• No. 18 AWG
• Type SV / SVT or SJ / SJT
• 3 conductor
• The cord set must have a rated current carrying
capacity of at least 10A
• The attachment plug must be an earth-grounding
type with a NEMA 5-15P (15A, 125V) or NEMA
6-15P (15A, 250V) configuration
