The guide opens as a Windows Help file (.CHM file). This readable, onscreen version of the guide is
provided in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Gain access to the .CHM file:
1. Insert the User CD into the CD-ROM drive.
2. Navigate to the MANUALS\<LANGUAGE> folder.
3. Open the following file:
CM6040MFP_USE_XXWW.CHM
NOTE: For information about which languages are supported, see Table 1-4, 5, 6 in this chapter.
NOTE: The "XX" in the file name corresponds to the language. For French, the file name is
CM6040MFP_USE_FRWW.CHM.
NOTE: Document filenames on your CD may reference either “HP Color LaserJet CM6030 MFP” or
“HP Color LaserJet CM6040 MFP” interchangeably; the references are applicable to either product.
The HP Color LaserJet CM6030 and CM6040 MFP Series User Guides are also provided as
printable .PDF files. To view and print the .PDF versions of the guides:
1. In the User CD Browser, click User Guides.
2. Click User Guide (Printer Friendly). The guide opens.
3. Print the guide.
Gain access to the .PDF file:
1. Insert the User CD into the CD-ROM drive.
2. Navigate to the MANUALS\<LANGUAGE> folder.
3. Open the following file:
CM6040MFP_USE_XXWW.PDF
NOTE: For information about which languages are supported, see Table 1-4, 5, 6 in this chapter.
