The Wait light is flashing
The flashing wait light indicates that the scanner needs to make a readjustment but
is unable to do so. To resolve this issue, remove any paper from the scanner, ensure
that the insertion slot is set to the minimum height, and wait for the light to turn off.
The Wait and Diagnostics lights are both flashing
