Put the paper in the IN drawer, print side down.
Push the paper in toward the back of the paper drawer until it stops.

Slide the paper adjusters in so they fit snugly against the edges of 
the paper. 
Make sure the paper still lies flat in the drawer and that the paper fits 
easily under the tab of the paper-length adjuster. (See page 28 for 
more information if you’re loading small-sized paper.)

Push the paper drawer back in and flip the OUT tray back down.

PRINTSIDE DOWN
Most paper prints 
better on one side 
than on the other. This 
is especially true for 
coated or specially 
treated paper. The 
print side is usually 
indicated on the 
paper package.

RINTING ZONE
Your printer can’t print 
right to the edge of the 
paper. Be sure to set 
the margins so that 
the document falls 
within the printable 
area, or part of it could 
be cut off. For details,
