Remove the top cover:
1. Turn the computer upside down, with the front toward you.
2. Remove the eleven Torx T8M2.5×8.0 screws (1) that secure the top cover to the base
enclosure.
3. Remove the Phillips PM2.5×4.0 screw (2) that secures the top cover to the base enclosure.
4. Turn the computer right-side up, with the front toward you.
5. Disconnect the TouchPad cable (1) and the fingerprint reader board cable (2) from the system
board.
6. Release the modem module cable (3) from the clips built into the top cover.
