The
HP-11C’s
eight
conditional
tests
are
true/false
tests
used
in
programs
to
enable
your
HP-11C
to
make
decisions.
In
a
running
program,
when
the
result
of
a
conditional
test
is
true,
program
execution
continues
with
the
first
instruction
following the
conditional
test.
When
the
result
of
a
conditional
test
is
false,
execution
bypasses
the
first
instruction
following the
test
and
resumes
with
the
second
instruction
following the
test.

Your

conditionals
operate
by
comparing
the
value
in
the
X-register
to
either
the
number
in
the
Y-register
or
to
zero
in
the
following
manner:
tests
to
see
if
the
value
in
the
X-register
is
less
than
or
equal
to
the
value
in
the
Y-register.
tests
to
see
if
the
value
in
the
X-register
is
greater
than
the
value
in
the
Y-register.
tests
to
see
if
the
value
in
the
X-register
is
not equal
to
the
value
in
the
Y-register.
