Running dce_config to Configure Enhanced DFS
dfs_config Environment Variables
CONFIG_DFS_FLDB_ONLY "n" (default) causes a File server to be
automatically configured when a Fileset
Location Database (FLDB) server is
configured; "y" causes only an FLDB server
to be configured; if not set, when an FLDB
server is configured, a prompt appears asking
if the user also wants to configure a File
server.
CONFIG_NFS_GATEWAY If set to “y,” configures a gateway when
configuring an EFS client.
CONFIG_NFS_GATEWAY_USEBOS If set to “y,” uses the bosserver to configure
the NFS gateway.
DFS_SERVER_INSTALL One of four values: “scm” - System Control
Machine, “privatefs” - Private File Server,
“fs”- File Server, or “fldb”- Fileset Location
Database Server.
DFSGW_PORT The dfsgw port in /etc/services.
EPI_FORMAT_PART “y” if user wishes to format a partition as an
Episode aggregate; “n” otherwise.
EPI_FORCE_INIT “y” if user wishes to force the initialization of
a partition as an Episode aggregate, possibly
losing data; “n” otherwise.
INIT_LFS “y” if user wants to initialize the LFS (using
epiinit); “n” otherwise.
INSTALL_OPT_SERS “y” if user wants to install optional EFS
servers (for example, bak, butc, upclient);
“n” otherwise.
INSTALL_OPT_CLIENT “y” if user wants to install the optional client
binaries (cm, bos, and fts); “n” otherwise.
