DCE TCL Functions
NAME
tcl_dce_config_secserver
- Configures the local host as a DCE
security server. This function first checks that secd has been installed, and if
so, creates the dce_cf.db file. Initializes the security service database, then
starts secd and the security client service.
SYNOPSIS
tcl_dce_config_secserver (hostname cellname celladmin
celladmin_pw)
PARAMETERS
hostname
The name of the local host. This parameter is required (as opposed to
discovered using the ‘hostname’ command) because the user will be
encouraged to specify the hostname using the full domain name, as opposed
to the short name.
cellname
The name of the cell you wish to create (without the /.../ prepended).
celladmin
The account acting as the cell administrator.
celladmin_pw
The cell administrator’s password.
RETURNS
TCL_OK
Successfully configured the local host as a security server.
err_msg
An error was encountered.
