During data processing, the R
EADY
light
is blinking and the G
O
and A
TTENTION
lights are off. Pressing the G
O
button
cancels the current job without printing
another page. The printer returns to the
Ready state after the job has been
canceled.
Job cancellation
Ready
Attention
Go
During job-cancellation, all of the lights
cycle. Pressing the G
O
button has no
effect. After the job-cancel process is
complete, the printer returns to the
Ready state.
Continuable error
Go
Ready
Attention
When a continuable error exists, the G
O
light is on, the R
EADY
light is off, and
the A
TTENTION
light is blinking.
Press the G
O
button to attempt to recover
from the error and continue printing. If the
printer recovers from the error, it will start
to process data and will complete the job.
If the recovery fails, the device will return
to the continuable-error state. The
following actions and events cause
continuable errors:
Ŷ Manual feeding
Ŷ Out of paper for the specified tray
Ŷ General continuable error
Ŷ Memory overflow (error 20) or
memory full (PCL only)
Ŷ Temporary engine error (41.x errors)
Ŷ I/O error (22 error) / buffer flow error

Ŷ I/O data error (40 error) (bad
