Prior to this step: Remove memory card (if applicable), scanner, pods, front door, front
cover, back cover, paper guide, top cover, and disconnect laser/scanner.

Rotate the cam to free the Kick Plate.

Rotate the Kick Plate arm up approximately 45 degrees and lift the left end up and
out of the collar shaft securing it.
