Top Cover Removal
1 Remove the following assemblies:
• Remove the toner cartridge. (See “Toner Cartridge Removal” (page 160) for
instructions.)
• Remove the DIMM cover. (See “DIMM Cover Removal” (page 175) for instructions.)
• Remove the rear cover. (See “Rear Cover Removal” (page 180) for instructions.)
2 Release the swing arm from the toner cartridge door (see figure 7-51), and push it down
in the opening.

3 Remove the screws shown in figure 7-52.
