Laser Scanner Assembly Removal
1 Remove the following assemblies:
• Remove the toner cartridge. (See “Toner Cartridge Removal” (page 160) for
instructions.)
• Remove the DIMM cover. (See “DIMM Cover Removal” (page 175) for instructions.)
• Remove the rear cover. (See “Rear Cover Removal” (page 180) for instructions.)
• Remove the top cover. (See “Top Cover Removal” (page 192) for instructions.)
2 Disconnect the power cables from the cooling fan (1) and the laser scanner assembly
(2) (see figure 7-61).
3 Remove the fan’s power cable from the routing clips located on top of the laser scanner
assembly.
