• HP print cartridges feature HP Smart Printing Technology to ensure consistent, top-quality output
over the life of each print cartridge, and from cartridge to cartridge.
• The simple paper path and the easy-to-use, all-in-one HP print cartridge results in fewer and
easier interactions with the MFP.
• HP Smart Printing Technology is activated every time you install an HP print cartridge into your
MFP. The HP print cartridge, MFP, and software are designed to work together, allowing you
to monitor your current supplies, order new supplies on-line, and print successfully every time.
Extensive user help
The MFP includes three types of help:
• What is this? help provides information on any item on the touch screen.
• Show me how help shows you how to use the product features.
• Self-help provides access to extensive help on the Web. Access the online self-help by selecting
HP Instant Support Professional Edition from the HP Embedded Web Server.
Productivity tools and services
Powerful tools and services provide convenient access to device information, settings, and support.

HP Embedded Web
Server
Allows you to view device and network status and to manage printing functions from your
computer instead of from the control panel; enables proactive one-on-one management.
HP Web Jetadmin Provides network managers a single support tool to install, monitor, and troubleshoot a wide
range of network-connected devices from an intuitive browser interface. While the
HP Embedded Web Server is used to manage a single device, HP Web Jetadmin is used to
manage groups of devices.
HP Instant Support
Professional Edition
Connects you to the HP Web site to help you solve problems and answer questions. This service
analyzes your device error log and configuration information to provide diagnostic and support
information specific to your MFP.
HP SureSupply Lets you conveniently and easily order supplies over the Internet. Enabled by HP Smart Printing
Technology, SureSupply helps you track and manage supplies usage, and provides alerts when
supplies should be reordered or replaced. With just a few clicks, access cartridge information,
pricing, and purchasing options that best meet your needs—either from the reseller of your
choice or from HP. (Program availability varies by region.)
