Optical unit
1 Remove the following assemblies:
● ADF assembly. See
ADF assembly.
● Scanner glass. See
Scanner glass.
CAUTION Do not use lubricant on the optical-unit guide-rod.
2 Remove one screw (callout 1) to release the FFC cable guide, and disconnect the FFC (callout 2).
