This section shows the dialog box options that appear during the HP LaserJet P2010 Series printing-
system software installation on Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, and Windows Vista
operating systems.
HP recommends that you install the software before connecting the device to the computer. However,
it is possible to install the software if the device is already connected by using Plug-and-Play and the
Add Printer wizard.

Insert the printing-system software CD into the CD-ROM drive. The Begin Setup screen appears.

Click Begin Setup to start a series of screens that show how to prepare the HP LaserJet P2010 Series
printer for printing-system software installation. Click the arrows in the lower-right corner of the screen
to view animated illustrations of each step.
When setup is complete, the Install Printer Software screen appears.
