d. Install the orange spacers (included with the fuser drive kit) in the holes (callout 1) in the
main-drive chassis to lock the gears in place.
CAUTION: Failure to follow this step will allow the gears to rotate—the gears will be out of
phase—and it will be difficult to reinstall the assembly on the product.
TIP: Secure the spacers with tape to prevent them from falling out.
